It’s been a great day overall. I thank the Lord for giving me another change today. I woke up two text messages from two individuals who I enjoy talking to. I also had another friend voice message me back. It was great hearing from all three of them. I went grocery shopping today. Sunday is normal food shopping today. I purchased extra food items due to the snowstorm that is going hit the DMV area. It was raining all day, and it’s anticipated that it will all turn into snow by late tonight. I heard through the grapevine that the New York Tri-State area is getting about two feet of snow. I miss New York, sometimes.

I also a purchased a mini soccer net and NHL 19 for the PlayStation 4 (PS4). I believe having the net around with the mini soccer ball is going to fun, especially for days when I'm working from home. If I’m every mad at someone or something, I can kick the ball for a goal, instead of judo kicking someone in the face. NHL 19 is a hockey video game that I enjoyed playing when I first moved to the DMV. I had a PS4 when my first year here in the DC area, back in 2020. I eventually gave the gaming system away, and I hadn’t played the hockey game since then. I paid $2.99 for this latest copy, and I’m glad I did. I'm getting back into all of my hobbies as a way to recreate and maintain a work life balance.
