Your dreams and goals are what you work towards while you are alive. If there is one piece of advice I would give my family and friends, it’s this. Don’t let that dream be dependent on others. The funny thing I’ve learned its that most of the major goals that people have are family oriented, which in a sense is great. It means that there is a God-given unselfishness that He instills in us. With that being said, if you die, your ability to achieve that dream or goal dies with you.

Ecclesiastes 9:10 says, “Whatever thy hand finds to do, do it with all thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, wither thou goest.” In this text, I believe that Solomon was being a realist. The man who the Lord Himself granted to be the human being on earth, was calling it has the king saw it. I’ve also seen have people had goals that they were excited about, only to have it cut down by an unexpected demise. There are times that I wonder how seriously I take this myself.

I am grateful for today and the past forty-two years God has given me to pursue goals that I’m passionate about.
